    Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Yunnan province’s Spring City, Kunming, home to more than one third of China’s ethnic minorities. Upon arrival in Kunming, proceed for lunch and embark on a city tour. Visit the Yongning Mosque, built in the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt again in the Qing Dynasty.

    Stone Forest Scenic Area

    After breakfast, proceed to visit the Stone Forest Scenic Area, one of the most scenic spots in China since the Ming Dynasty. An extremely rare geological phenomenon dating back to 270 million years ago, the Stone Forest is 80 hectares of Karst limestone pillars in fantastic shapes that resemble a forest from a distance. It is also home to the Sani tribe, a branch of the diverse and scattered Yi minority renowned for their diligence, embroidery and dancing. Walk around the Greater and Lesser Stone Forests with Naigu Stone Forest, Zhiyun Cave, Long Lake, Moon Lake, Qifeng Cave, and the Dadie Waterfalls. In the evening, you may wish to join an optional tour to watch the Dynamic Yunnan Show which is a grand and unique dance musical that richly depicts the strong flavour of the life of ethnic minorities of Yunnan, with original rural songs and classical folk dances, combining beauty of Yunnan ethnic minorities dance and songs with the power of modern stage exhibition.

    Dali Ancient Town

    After breakfast, visit the renowned Pu’er Tea House to learn more about this interesting tea in which leaves are harvested up on the tree, learn about the Chinese tea culture and learn to brew for yourself. Continue to coach to Dali (journey approx. 5hours). Located northwest of the Yunnan Province, Dali City is the economic and cultural center of the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. The area is surrounded by mountains on the east, west, and south, and has the Erhai Lake in its center. Here you will find 25 ethnic minorities, which have created a unique cultural heritage amidst the area's picturesque surroundings. Upon arrival, explore the Dali Ancient Town with a history of 1,300 years, which is the home to Bai minority. The town, whose format is like a chess board with four gates guarding in the directions of east , south, west and north stands between Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake, a natural configuration that seems specially designed for a good bountiful life. Stroll in the Foreigners Street, a bustling business street scattered with Bai Minority's traditional dwellings, many of which sell local snacks, traditional handicrafts, and ethnic costumes.

    Xizhou Village

    After breakfast, visit the houses of the Bai minority people in Xizhou Village. Here you will see typical Bai traditions and dresses. Some buildings are old and have typical ancient architectures, and are the ‘real local’ houses. See how they make the Chinese cheese and silver wares. Next travel 2.5 hours to Lijiang, considered a fairyland blessed with fresh air, clear streams, breath-taking snowy mountains and an undisturbed landscape inhabited by friendly Naxi People, one of China's 55 minority ethnic groups. Visit Shuhe Ancient Town, also named Longquan Village (which literally means dragon spring village), is located in the north of Lijiang Ancient City. In Naxi language, Shuhe means “a village at the foot of a peak”. As the earliest habitation for Naxi ancestors, Shuhe Ancient Town is regarded as a living specimen of the Naxi ancestors’ transition from an agriculture civilization to a commercial culture.

    Black Dragon Pond

    This morning, visit the Black Dragon Pond also known as Heilongtan Pool, located at the foot of the Elephant Hill. The pool is also called Jade Spring Park, reflecting its endless bubbling clear spring waters and surrounded by walkways, willows and chestnut trees. On a clear day you might see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with its white snow, the source of the Jade Spring and its famous white clouds. Next proceed to visit Lijiang Old Town, a well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with brilliant culture, is a central town of the Naxi Ethnic Minority located on the plateau which is 2,400 meters (7,874 feet) above the sea level and embraced by the tree-covered Lion Mountain in the west, Elephant and Golden Row Mountains in the north, vast fertile fields in the southeast and crystal clear water running through, the old town looks like a big jade ink slab, therefore got the alias the Town of Big Ink Slab (Dayanzhen). Visit a local masjid and move on to the Spirulina showroom to see how the precious algae are cultivated in the highland. Head on to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area the most southerly snow-capped mountain famous for its variant and beautiful natural scenes, and is considered a sacred mountain. After lunch, watch the Impression of Lijiang a large scale outdoor performance by the locals. Proceed to visit the Blue Moon Valley which actually is an extremely blue river meandering through a lush valley and it resembles a blue crescent moon inlaid at the foot of the mountain seen at a distance. It is also known as White Water River as it rains; the white mud and limestone rubble at the riverbed will be swirled up, making the water as white as milk.

    *Note: Electric tram ride in the Blue Moon Valley is included; need to prepare warm clothing as the temperature may dipped in the mountain area.

    This morning, travel back to Kunming via coach. Arrived Kunming, visit the Silk Showroom for some shopping before check in to hotel.

    After breakfast, visit the Green Lake Park (Cuihu Lake). The park consists of about four small sub-lakes and four islands that are connected with elaborately decorated bridges. These are Mid-Lake Islet, Goldfish Islet, Bamboo Forest Islet, and Palm Islet. Each islet has its own unique delights on offer. Next visit Shuncheng Street Mosque. It is the head quarter of Islamic Association of Yunnan; built in the Ming Dynasty and in Chinese architectural style surrounded by the local Muslim community. Visit The Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway built in the Ming Dynasty dating back more than 400 years ago and it is situated right on the central axis of old Kunming city, located in the centre of downtown Kunming.

    Flower Market

    After breakfast, visit Dounan Flower Market a famous wholesale flower market and also one of Asia's biggest flowers trading market with numerous varieties of flowers. After lunch, transfer to Kunming International Airport for your flight back to Singapore.

    Not my first time travelling with CWH and they never failled to meet my expectations. Would definitely recommend this trip to my family and friends.
