    Arrival to Kyiv at 08:35 am TK 457, meet our local representative will welcome you. Embark on a city tour and discover the history of the capital of once the most powerful East European state covers the period of 1500 years. You will see the Motherland Statue Complex - the tallest in Ukraine and higher than the Liberty Statue in NYC! Then continue to Kyiv Pechersk Lavra a UNESCO World Heritage List, also known as Kyiv Monastery of the Caves. Nowadays, as it was almost a thousand years ago, Lavra remains the most important place of pilgrimage on the territory of Ukraine. In this place you find not only seclusion and asceticism, but also beautiful churches, decorated with paintings, monk’s cells, defense towers and other buildings that have arisen over the past centuries. Lavra Caves is a complex system of narrow underground passages with temples along the way and buried relics of sacred ascetics. There are also some museums and exhibitions on the grounds of the Lavra Monastery. If time permits, at your own expenses you may wish to the Museum of Historical Treasures of Ukraine which houses a rich collection of unique artworks of the ancient Scythians, including the famous golden pectoral from the megalithic tomb. After lunch continue with a walking tour along Khreschatyk street - the shortest main street in the world, and Maidan also known as Independence Square where all revolution started.

    Embark on a full day tour to Chernobyl which is the most famous Ukrainian phenomenon, and especially known to the world because of HBO's Chernobyl series. We will see landmarks including the power plant, Kopachi Village and its abandoned kindergarten and Reactor Nos 4. Continue to Pripyat town which is now silent with ruins like collapsed schools, run-down hospitals, and derelict cinemas. Complete your day with a visit the secret Duga military radar station. Enjoy an ecological clean lunch will be arranged during the tour. This completes the real life experience as would a staff when they have their meals in the staff canteen!

    Today is dedicated to spiritual side of this beautiful city dotted with 300 churches. Visit the Saint Sophia’s Cathedral, famous around the world as a masterpiece of architecture, fresco painting and mosaic art; built in the 11th century it is the place where the princes of Kievan Rus’ have found their rest. Visit the St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, built around a century later, and see the Golden Gate - the entrance to the medieval city. Shopping spree awaits at Andrew’s descent souvenir market. Continue with a funicular ride to Podil area to explore Poshtova square and River Port and take a cruise along the Dnipro river (available May - September).

    Early departure by express train to Lviv. Upon arrival, embark on a walking tour around Lviv. During the walking tour we will see the architecture of Rynok Square, a typical Austrian streets, as well as modern dwellings. Together they narrate Lviv's glorious history. Explore the Medieval part of Lviv and will see Rynok Square, Armenian church and quarter, Dominican church, Boim Chapel, and many other impressive sites in the historical city center. Highlights of this tour include visits of the Opera House, built in the classical tradition with Neo-Renaissance details (visit to Opera House is subject to change).

    Visit the High Castle Hill (walk along the hill), where a castle once stood during 1300s to the 1770s to protect the residents of Lviv during attacks. The hill now offers the best views of the city. Discover the former Austrian casino, presently known as "The House of Scientists" was a meeting place for the aristocratic elite. Visit St. George's Cathedral, which serves as a great example of rococo architecture and was built between 1744 -1760. Today St. George's Cathedral is the main Greek- Catholic church. The Lychakiv Cemetery – one of the oldest cemeteries in Europe were meant for the wealthy elite, as well as artists, scientists, politicians, and members of the clergy were buried here is also worth a visit.

    Shevchenkivskyi Hay

    In the morning visit Shevchenkivskyi Gay – the Museum of folk architecture and rural life. View the wooden folk architecture, everyday life artifacts, and local arts. The museum is one of the biggest open-air museums in Europe. After lunch and free at leisure for shopping and to explore the city till dinner time followed by transfer to the train station for your overnight train to Odessa.

    Catacombs of Odessa

    Welcome to Odessa - the largest port city of Ukraine. Catherine the Great ordered to build this city driven by the ambition to create the most beautiful port city in the world. Embark on a city tour to unveil the main attractions of Odessa – Prymorsky Boulevard with the Richelieu Monument which attracts every season not only tourists, but also city residents, the Potemkin Stairs with its 192 steps which lead you to the port, the Opera House, which is one of the most magnificent opera houses in the whole Europe, Derribasiwska Street, the burgomeister’s residence, the Assumption Cathedral, the Greek Trinity Church, the Orthodox Cathedral of Christ Transfiguration and the city center in style of art nouveau. A colorful mixture of people shapes the cityscape and gives it a southern flair. In the late afternoon, the highlight of your trip is a visit and explore the catacombs of Odessa which is a long tunnel system and labyrinth, extending below the city and with the total length of 2500 km! Throughout its history, the catacombs sheltered crooks, robbers, hustlers and Soviet partisans. Today, visitors can go for extraordinary excursion. Inside the catacombs there is also a museum that tells the story of this tunnel system. Free at leisure in the afternoon. Enjoy the air and water at one of the beautiful beaches of Odessa ( getting there at your own expenses) or at your own expenses take a boat trip and admire the beauties of the city from the sea; visit the largest dolphinarium in Ukraine ( extra). In the evening, you may also dress the appropriate outfit and listen to an opera in the Odessa Opera House.

    Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky

    Today you will visit the “white city” Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky also known as Akkerman is one of the oldest cities in the world. Both names are self-explanatory and refer to the white color (Akkerman means in Turkish “white rock”). What does Bilhorod- Dnistrovsky, Athens, Jerusalem, Rome and Beijing have in common? All these cities have history of more than 2500 years. Nowadays Akkerman is famous for its medieval fortress which was built in the 14th - 15th and has remained in good condition. Today it is the largest fortress on the territory of Ukraine and belongs to the 7 wonders of Ukraine. The fortress will amaze you with its 3 to 5 meters thick walls and numerous towers. With a little luck you will be entertained at a historic festival or a disguised knight tournament. Not far away from Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi is situated Shabo Village, the name of which has also a Turkish origin and can be translated as “Lower Gardens”. Centuries have passed away but the village still remains true to its name. Viticulture here traces its roots to the Greeks and Genoese. This tradition continues in the present days, as here is situated the headquarter of one of the most famous wine producers in Ukraine. While in the village visit the wine museum, where you will be warmly invited to wine tasting.
