    Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel for a good night’s rest.

    Khast Imam Square

    After breakfast, explore the old town Tashkent with a visit to Khast Imam Square, the religious center of the city and a place of worship for Muslim pilgrims. Some of the surrounding architectural highlights include Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillaya-Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi and Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari, where a rich library of oriental manuscripts is can be found. The world-famous Quran of Caliph Uthman has been preserved and kept there as well. Ottoman Quran is known as the primary source of Islam holy book that was written in 7th-century. After that, visit Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan with over 7,000 pieces of traditional folk art such as ceramic, glass and porcelain, handmade and machine embroidery, national fabrics and costumes, carpets, varnished miniatures and jewellery. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Bukhara, former capital and known as the holiest city in Central Asia.

    This morning, start your tour with a visit to Lyabi-Hauz ensemble, an ancient architectural complex of mosaic-decorated religious buildings framing a central pond. Some of the major sights include Nadir Devanbegi Madrasah, Nadir Devanbegi Khanaga, Poi-Kalyan Minaret, Aziz Khan Madrasah, and Ulugbek Madrasah. Next, visit Art fortress and Bolo-Hauz Mosque. Then, visit Bukhara Brilliant Silk factory where you can see the production of silk. In the evening, enjoy a dinner at Bukhara Silk Road with a folk music and dance performance.

    This morning, visit Sitorai Mokhi Khosa palace, the summer residence of the former emir of Bukhara where you can see unique mixture of traditional Russian style of architecture harmoniously mixed with local oriental traditions. Then, make your way to Gijduvan for a visit to the house of the famous potter Alisher Nazirov. View a pottery-making demonstration and a DIY pottery masterclass to learn more about the unique craft that is popular in the region for its vibrant colours and its intricate techniques. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch with Alisher family and learn more about traditional bread making. After lunch, continue to Samarkand for your overnight stay.

View the 3 beautiful madrasahs, the 15th-century Ulugbek Madrasah, both 17th-century Tillya Kari Madrasah and Sher Dor Madrasah. After that, visit Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of the Asian conqueror, Amir Temur. view the grandest structure of Amir Temur’s times, Bibi-Khanum Mosque. Continue to Silk Road Bazaar and Shah-i-Zinda necropolis. This evening, transfer to the railway station for a Afrosiyob train ride back to Tashkent.

    After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Tashkent. After that, visit Kukeldash Madrasah, one of the most monumental religious buildings in the whole of Central Asia. Next, head to Chorsu Bazaar, the oldest market in Tashkent, to shop for local snacks and crafts. If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
