    Upon arrival at Kiev embark on a city tour of this ancient city. Visit the Motherland Statue Complex and will go inside to explore the Museum of the Second World War to view the military equipment used then. Then you will visit the UNESCO’s World Heritage listed Pechersk Lavra Monastery which includes the museums of Historical Treasures (Closed on Monday) and Microminiatures (Closed on Tuesday). The monastery was founded by two monks Antoniy and Feodosiy in 1051 for enchanting and expansion of a new religion - Christianity. The complex of the Monastery includes the nearby and far-off caves, the Church of the Savior on Berestove, Holy Trinity Gate Church, St Nicholas' Church and the Great Lavra Belfry which is the highest in Ukraine as well as the fully reconstructed Assumption Cathedral. After lunch, proceed to explore Pyrogovo, an open air museum which feature traditional Ukrainian architecture, the culture of Ukrainian people and their rural life. The museum consists of 300 ancient rural huts that were collected from all over Ukraine. Majority of them were moved to the museum and then reconstructed. On display are huts, wooden churches, water and wind mills, also clothes and kitchen utensils dating back to the period of 17th beginning of the 20th century.

    Embark on a full day tour to Chernobyl which is the most famous Ukrainian phenomenon, and especially known to the world because of HBO's Chernobyl series. You will see landmarks including the power plant, Kopachi Village and its abandoned kindergarten and Reactor #4. We will head to Pripyat town which is now silent and see collapsed schools, run-down hospitals, and derelict cinemas. Also included is a visit to the secret Duga military radar station.

    Today is dedicated to spiritual side of this beautiful city dotted with 300 churches. Visit the St Sophia’s Cathedral, famous around the world as a masterpiece of architecture, fresco painting and mosaic art; built in the 11th century it is the place where the princes of Kievan Rus’ have found their rest. Visit the St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, built around a century later, and see the Golden Gate - the entrance to the medieval city. Continue to St. Andrew’s Church ( closed for renovation) and its observation desk with an amazing view to the Dnipro river. Shop at Andrew’s descent souvenir market followed by a funicular ride to Podil area - we will explore Poshtova square and River Port. After an early dinner transfer to the airport for your flight to Odessa.

    Catacombs of Odessa

    Embark on city tour of Odessa which will take you to the world-known 142-m long Potemkin's Stairs that was build 1837. Be impressed by the genius of the designer who could create the great optical illusion. While standing at the top of the stairs only smooth sloping surface can be seen. View the magnificent Opera House which is one of the most beautiful theatres in Europe. In the main street of the Humour Capital Deribasovskaya feel the atmosphere of fun and joy. After lunch, visit the Catacombs. Odessa was built on the coquina stones that had been mined out of the ground which explain the long labyrinths spread under the city.

    Continue towards the town of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi to visit the medieval fortress. Explore the town and medieval-style fortress. Moldavian and Ukrainian engineers built the walls in the first part of the 15th century to protect against impending invasion from the expanding Ottoman Empire. The ramparts, with a circumference of about a mile and a half, are remarkably well preserved. Till date excavations still continue to unearth artefacts from the ancient time. Then head towards Shabo - the center of Ukrainian wine culture. It’s time to know more about how Ukrainian wine is produced and taste it.

    After breakfast, bid farewell to Ukraine as you enjoy a scenic drive to Moldova. Visit Tiraspol – the second largest city in Moldova which is the capital and administrative centre of the Moldavian Republic (Transnistria) with its own currency, government and ideology. Visit Tighina (Bendery) Fortress - one of the well preserved and most picturesque medieval fortress. Enjoy a drive through the city and the sights such as the main Tiraspol street – 25th of October, The State Theatre, University, City Hall, Main Post Office, The Republican Hall, The Old Rite Church, The Culture Hall, the Open Area Mall, The Church of Nativity and other important buildings and monuments. The most photograph places are the building of the Parliament and the Government, The Monument of Lenin, the Memorial, the bell tower, the Arts Gallery etc.

    Visit the “Cricova Winery” one of the oldest wineries to produce high quality wines in the Republic of Moldova. Having become an emblem of the Moldovan winemaking, the underground wine city Cricova has galleries stretching on 70 km. Situated 11 km away from the capital Chisinau, the limestone undergrounds located at 35-80 m depth house 30 million litres of wine at a constant temperature of 12-14 °C and 97-98% humidity. After some wine tasting continue to explore the medieval town Old Orhei (Orheiul Veci) – a museum complex that presents the remains of different civilizations established between Nistru and Prut rivers. It is situated 60 km away from Chisinau in a narrow, rocky, deep bend in the Raut River valley comprising caves, grottoes, churches, and hermitages. Visit the “Guest House” near the outdoor museum complex, get acquainted with the culture and the traditions of this nation. For lunch, enjoy traditional Moldavian food like: chicken zeama, mamaliga, a large variety of pies cooked by the hosts and drink their home made wine.
