Upon arrival, embark on your city tour with a visit towards the Old Havana, listed under UNESCO World Heritage in 1982. Visit Fort of San Carlos of the Cabin, also known as La Cabana. The Fort is an 18th-century fortress complex, the third-largest in the Americas before crossing over the Almendares River to Malecon. Next, stop by and visit Cathedral Square, one of the four main squares in Old Havana where the Cathedral of Havana situated. Continuing with a stop in Plaza de Armas, the city’s oldest plaza surrounded by cafes and restaurants. After lunch, continue to visit Castillo de la Fuerza Real, an ancient fortress steeped in history and architectural marvels.

After lunch, spend leisure time exploring the bustling San Jose Market, where an array of treasure awaits. You may also have the option to embark on a classic car panorama tour at your own expense, offering and opportunity to marvel at the panoramic views of Havana’s vibrant streets. Thereafter, enjoy a delightful dinner experience at La Divina Pastora restaurant, where you’ll savour exquisite culinary creations amidst a charming ambiance.

This morning, travel south towards one of Cuba’s most beautiful southern coastal cities, Cienfuegos derives as “one hundred fires” which was named after Austrian-born José Cienfuegos Jovellanos, Captain General of Cuba. Stop by and visit Jose Marti Park where you will view the National Monument situated in the middle where when it was previously the Plaza de Armas. Continue to the Statue of Benny More, rosed and dedicated to Cuban National Singer, Benny More himself. Continue to visit Palace of the Valley, a historic villa built from 1913 to 1917 and reminiscent of stylish Moorish architecture. Thereafter. Proceed to the colorful town of Trinidad. The town lies between the Caribbean Sea and the Escambray Mountains. It is the oldest and most enchanting ‘outdoor museum’ presenting an inerasable history of the country.

After breakfast, explore Trinidad, a UESCO World Heritage town known for its colonial old architecture and cobblestone streets. Travel back into the historical time by seeing the beautifully restored buildings in the city center stained with quaint colonial feel. Much of the architecture dates from the 17th to the 19th century when Trinidad prospered from both the sugar and slave trades. Visit the Cantero Palace, a grandiose 19th-century colonial mansion, now a municipal history museum with antiques & frescoes. The history of the palace first belonged to the Borrell family from 1827 to 1830, until the building passed into the German Kanter. Next, view Convent of San Francisco de Asís, a 18th century convent. Spend some time strolling around the town and get your cameras ready for an Instagrammable photos before making your way to Santa Clara, known for its revolutionary landmarks and vibrant university town and the famous site of the last guerrilla battle led by Che Guevara in 1958. Visit the Mausoleum and Monument of Che Guevara. Etched on the bronze statue in Revolution Square, is his final letter to Fidel Castro. Thereafter, proceed back to Havana for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a city tour beginning at Zocalo, the main plaza and the beating heart of city. Discover pre-Hispanic ruins and majestic colonial buildings surrounding the plaza. Next, visit Metropolitan Cathedral, the oldest and largest cathedral in the Americas and also the seats of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico. Thereafter, view the 235 meters long National Palace from outside which was built on the orders of Hernan Cortes in 1529 where are located murals by one of Mexico’s most famous painters Diego Rivera.

Enjoy a full-day excursion to Teotihuacan, City of the Gods. Enroute, visit Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a place of pilgrimage for millions of Mexicans and Catholic around the world. Later, be amazed as you reach the fascinating complex of pyramids and structures in the ancient city of Teotihuacan. Continue your visit at Pyramid of the Sun, Pyramid of the Moon and Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Spend some time to explore the sprawling site at your own leisure. You may wish to climb up the steep steps of the pyramids and be rewarded with awe-inspiring views of the magnificent remains of one of Mesoamerica’s most important civilizations. In the evening, enjoy a delightful taco night dinner featuring an array of mouthwatering taco fillings and toppings, from savory meats to fresh vegetables and zesty sauces

This day, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Merida. Upon arrival, depart Merida for Chichen Itza, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Chichen Itza is Mexico’s most visited Maya archaeological site and the ceremonial centre of the Yucatan. The highlight of Chichen Itza is the Pyramid of Kukulkan, also known as El Castillo, a 24-metre-high step-pyramid stone representation of Maya calendar. Mesoamerican cultures occasionally built larger pyramids on top of smaller ones and this is the case for El Castillo where an excavation discovered a temple with an elaborate jaguar throne. You may also have the option to visit Cenotes at your own expense, another impressive natural site at Chichen Itza, featuring a sinkhole gateway into underground body of water spanning 60 meters in diameter.
